My Dad did it. He took my brother and I, to our first comic book shop in the early 90's. Our first comic books were "Swamp Thing" and "Wolverine #52". I saw all the t-shirt ads with Jim Lee's art inside. That's what happened, Jim Lee happened. I searched everywhere for Jim's X-Men run. Finally, after having lunch at Pike Place Market for the first time, we walked downstairs to the coolest comic book shop ever('til this day) Golden Age Collectables. There we picked up "X-Men #1". My future was sealed...inside a comic protective sleeve.
The rest, is comic present, and history. I have been working in comics for about ten years. It continues to challenge me, and I don't plan on slowing down.
